When Born Ruffians announced their tour at the start of next year, the first thing I thought was "these guys are idiots. It's booked the same day as Sunset Sounds." Turns out I was right.
They've moved the date up one day to the 4th of January. It's still at the Zoo.
But now, I have an indie week of awesome:
January 2, Built to Spill, the Zoo.
January 3, Future of the Left, the Zoo.
January 4, Born Ruffians, the Zoo.
January 5, Sunset Sounds.
January 6, Sunset Sounds.
Just wow. What a start to 2011.

Built to Spill
It's no secret I love me some good jangly-guitar indie rock. And Built To Spill have been playing it for over a decade now.
They're gracing our country for the New Year's Pyramid Rock festival down south, but we get a more intimate club show at the Zoo on January 2nd.
Do yourself a favour if you like indie, start the year well with them.
